Todd Newton is best known to audiences for his work on E! Entertainment Television. For nearly seven years, Newton has hosted Coming Attractions, Talk Soup, E! NewsLive and many of E1's live events, such as red carpet arrivals at the Academy Awards, Emmy Awards, Golden Globes and star-studded movie premieres. Newton is also recognized as the voice of E!
   
Additionally, Newton hosts Whammy! The All New Press Your Luck on Gameshow Network. Whammy!, an updated version of the classic Press Your Luck, gives players the chance to play for Big Bucks while trying to avoid the dreaded Whammy. Fans of game shows also know Newton from the popular Hollywood Showdown, which aired on Gameshow Network and PAX. Showdown is an exciting, fast-paced game where seven contestants test their knowledge of Tinseltown for a chance to win the box office jackpot - over $25,000! Newton's television travels have taken him around the globe, including Puerto Rico where he co-hosted the 2001 Miss Universe Pageant, seen by more than a billion people worldwide. Newton has been featured in Entertainment Weekly, USA Today, Glamour, Seventeen, USA Weekend, St. Louis Magazine, Media Week, Advertising Age and numerous newspapers.

 

In addition to being in front of the camera, Newton has spent time behind the microphone on the nationally syndicated radio show All Night Café. In Los Angeles, fans know him from KIIS-FM where he hosted a weekend music show. In St. Louis, Newton was the #1-rated night and P.M. drive personality on WKBQ-FM, as well as KHTK-FM.

Personally, Newton is an avid supporter of animal welfare and works to promote animal rescue. He also volunteers as a boy's basketball coach. A St. Louis native, Newton now lives in Los Angeles with his wife and their son.
