Arizona – A lucky Arizona lottery player won a $60 million Powerball jackpot on April Fools' Day.
The winner chose to remain anonymous and opted for the cash prize of $36.4 million.
"This is an exciting time for not only the lucky winner, but the state and the Arizona Lottery," said Gregg Edgar, Executive Director of the Arizona Lottery. "This is the first time we have seen a Powerball Grand Prize winner in our state since 2015, and we are happy for our Littlefield retail partner. We want to not only congratulate the winner, but thank them for playing the Arizona Lottery and helping us give back to our state!"
The winning ticket was purchased in Littlefield, Arizona at the Scenic General Store located at 2960 Scenic Blvd.
The winning numbers were 09, 32, 36, 44, 65 and Powerball number 01. The Power Play multiplier was 03.
