Powerball Jackpot Jumps to $454 Million for Wednesday, April 27 Drawing

The POWERBALL® jackpot has jumped to an estimated $454 million for the Wednesday, April 27 drawing after no ticket matched all six numbers drawn Monday night. The jackpot has a cash value of $271.9 million.

The winning numbers in the Monday, April 25 drawing were white balls 12, 18, 20, 39, and 61. The Powerball number was 10.

Participating lotteries are reminding players to check their tickets for one of the nine ways to win. While there was no Grand Prize winner in last Monday’s drawing, more than 947-thousand tickets won cash prizes. Top winners included a ticket in Texas that matched all five white balls to win $1 million. Since then, there have been 30 drawings in a row with a jackpot winner. The jackpot has been hit one other time this year. Two tickets, sold in California and Wisconsin, split a $632.6 million jackpot in the January 5 drawing. That jackpot ranked as the 7th largest in Powerball history.

Powerball tickets are $2 per play. Tickets are sold in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. More than half of all proceeds from the sale of a Powerball ticket remain in the jurisdiction where the ticket was sold. Powerball drawings are also live streamed online atPowerball.com.
