Jan Busby of Norfolk, Massachusetts claimed a $1 million prize from the Wednesday, July 19 Powerball drawing. Busby's ticket was one of three tickets in Massachusetts that matched all five white balls to win the $1 million prize.
The winning numbers Busby selected were birthdays of family members. She said she only plays a few times a year, but played this time because the jackpot was so high. She purchased her ticket at Shaw’s Supermarket, 255 East Central St. in Franklin. The retailer will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
