MEDIA ALERT - Powerball Drawing Delay
10:00 pm CT – Monday, Nov. 7
Tonight’s Powerball® drawing has been delayed due to a participating lottery needing extra time to complete the required security protocols. Powerball has strict security requirements that must be met by all 48 lotteries before a drawing can occur. When the required security protocols are complete, the drawing will be performed under the supervision of lottery security officials and independent auditors.
The winning numbers and recorded video of the drawing will be posted to the Powerball website and YouTube channel.

1:20 am CT – Tuesday, Nov. 8
The Powerball drawing scheduled for Monday, Nov. 7 remains delayed. Currently, one participating lottery is still processing its sales and play data. Powerball requires all 48 participating lotteries to submit their sales and play data prior to the winning numbers being selected. Once Powerball receives the outstanding submission, the drawing can proceed.
Powerball has stringent security requirements to protect the integrity of the game and remains committed to holding a drawing that gives all players a fair chance to win.
Due to the length of the draw delay, it is likely that we will not know the official results of the Powerball drawing until Tuesday morning. Players should hold onto their tickets.

The Powerball drawing scheduled for Monday, Nov. 7 remains delayed due to one participating lottery needing additional time to process its sales and play data. Powerball has been in communication with the lottery throughout the night as it works to resolve the issue. The delay is unfortunate as the other 47 lotteries were able to complete the required security procedures in a timely fashion.
Like the rest of America, Powerball is eager to hold its drawing for the world record jackpot, however, protecting the integrity of the draw is of upmost importance, even if that means a further delay. Players should hold onto to their tickets. As soon as the required security procedures are completed by the one outstanding lottery, the drawing can proceed.

Media Alert IV – Winning Numbers Drawn for $2.04 Billion Powerball Jackpot
8:30 am CT - Tuesday, Nov. 8
The Powerball drawing for the world record $2.04 billion jackpot was performed at 8:57 a.m. EST at the Florida Lottery draw studio in Tallahassee.
The winning numbers – white balls 10, 33, 41, 47, 56 and red Powerball 10. The Power Play® multiplier was 2X.
The jackpot climbed beyond its earlier estimate to $2.04 billion at the time of the drawing, making it the world’s largest lottery prize.
