New Millionaire for Life™ Launches Feb. 22

A new national draw game, Millionaire for Life™, launches Feb. 22 giving lottery players the chance to win up to $1 million every year, for life.

Drawings begin Sunday, Feb. 22 at 10:15 p.m. CT and will be held nightly, offering players a consistent opportunity to play throughout the week.

Millionaire for Life tickets will cost $5 per play and will be available at launch in 31 participating lottery jurisdictions.

The game features a unique prize structure designed to create daily winners, in addition to lifelong winners. The top prize is $1 million a year for life, and the second prize is $100,000 a year for life.

Both top prizes will be awarded as annuities with a guaranteed 20-year minimum payout. Players will also have the option to choose a one-time cash payout for either of the top two prize levels.

“Winning a million dollars a year for life is the jackpot of a lifetime,” said Tom Seaver, Millionaire for Life Product Group Chair and Senior Director of the Colorado Lottery. “Millionaire for Life adds a strong new option to lottery game portfolios while giving players more choice in how and when they play for these life-changing prizes.”

How to Play

To play Millionaire for Life, select five numbers from 1 to 58 and one Millionaire Ball™ from 1 to 5.

There are nine ways to win, and players can start winning cash prizes by matching just one white ball plus the Millionaire Ball™ – or by matching two white balls.

Millionaire for Life offers overall prize odds of 1 in 8.46, with top prize odds of 1 in 22.9 million.
