Powerball Player In Gallatin Wins $50,000 Double Play Prize

Daniel Bell Double Play Winner from Gallatin Tennessee

Tennessee – Daniel Bell always includes the Power Play feature when playing Powerball, so when Double Play was added to the game, he decided to give it a try. “I quit smoking two years ago so I figured I could spend the extra $1,” Bell laughed. Great decision! Bell matched four out of five regular balls and the Double Play Powerball in the Dec. 22, 2021 Powerball Double Play drawing to win $50,000.

For $1, Double Play gives Powerball players a chance to win additional cash prizes up to $10 million with their Powerball numbers. Players play the same set of numbers in both the main Powerball drawing and the separate Double Play drawing. Powerball tickets that include the Double Play add-on are eligible to win prizes in both drawings.

Bell purchased his lucky ticket at Cisco’s Shop & Fill, 567 Long Hollow Pike in Gallatin, Tenn.
