Linda Keyanchuk, 64, matched the four white balls and the Powerball twice - 10-21-30-43-63 PB: 17 - in the Aug. 8 drawing to win two $50,000 prizes. She also matched three numbers and the Powerball four times to win an additional $400. She bought her ticket online at MichiganLottery.com.

Mangal, said he purchases his Lottery tickets when the jackpots reach $100 million.  “I was grocery shopping and knew the Powerball jackpot was big,” he explained.  “I decided that was a good time to buy my tickets.”

Jim R. stopped at Sheetz in Brookville to get ice cream for his grandkids. While waiting in line, he decided to play Powerball for the June 16, 2018, drawing. He picked his own numbers at random using a touch-screen self-service terminal.

The next morning, he retrieved the tickets from his truck and checked the winning numbers online over a cup of coffee.

“When I returned to the store, the clerk said they had sold a $1 million winner,” Vincent said. “That’s when I scanned my ticket and realized I was the big winner -- I was elated!”

MISSOURI - A man’s 18-year-old fortune cookie has finally proven itself lucky. Paul Winters of Lee’s Summit says he uses the “lucky numbers” on the back of a fortune cookie he received 18 years ago when purchasing his weekly Missouri Lottery Powerball ticket.

“I had to make an adjustment to my numbers when the Powerball game changed a few years ago,” laughed Winters, saying that his numbers have otherwise stayed the same for the past 18 years.
