But when she was passing through Missouri on St. Patrick’s Day, she decided to use a combination of her birthday and her husband’s birthday to play her Powerball numbers on a multi-draw ticket. As luck would have it, she matched four white-ball numbers and the Powerball numbers drawn on April 7. The added Power Play doubled her $50,000 prize to $100,000.

It’s not every day that Kennet “Kenny” McGuire of Clarksville purchases a Missouri Lottery Powerball ticket. In fact, it’s more like every once in a while.

“I just buy one whenever I’m at the gas station and I think about it. I’ve bought maybe five tickets so far this year,” said McGuire.

On April 4, while getting sodas at Abel’s Quik Shop, 602 S. Third St. in Louisiana, the Lottery caught McGuire’s eye.

A Raymore, Missouri man has cashed in on a $1 million Lottery win from the March 17 Powerball drawing. Scott Brown matched five white-ball numbers to win the “Match 5” prize. The winning numbers were 22, 57, 59, 60, 66 and the Powerball number was 7.

Brown purchased his winning ticket at Big Al’s Liquor & Wine, 17215 S. Highway 71, in Belton. The win marks the 49th time a Missouri Lottery player has won the $1 million “Match 5” prize since 2012.

Middletown, PA (April 27, 2018) – A jackpot-winning Powerball® ticket from the March 17, 2018, drawing has been claimed, the Pennsylvania Lottery announced today. The jackpot had an advertised annuity value of $456.7 million.

The claimant, Emerald Legacy Trust, opted to receive a cash prize of $273,959,698, less 24 percent federal and 3.07 percent state tax withholding. The after-tax prize amount is $199,798,807.75.
